If you noticed, the Radar range has be increased with the new eye candy that went into effect a few weeks ago, to the extent you really can't see what is happening in your own county. I have been working my way up the NWS food chain to remedy the situation. One thing I did learn is that in a few months NWS Radar will be available via Google Maps and Google Earth, reportedly you will be able to see the weather directly above your house. Handy if the dog wants to know what to wear while searching for the newspaper...jf
