Mac OS X 10.0 was released as Consumer, five years ago today...March 24th, 2001.
I am "very" pleased with the effort, but wish for the following: 1. Fix minor, but persistent, Finder glitches. When column view is set as a general preference, why do some windows continue to open in icon view? 2. I annually lose $1K (billable) correcting Finder related printing problems. On the other hand, I receive offset income fixing the printing problems of others :) Still, it's lost production by all parties. 3. Make Trash visible as a sidebar option in an open Finder window. 4. It's great to have all the the eye candy, just give me a Preference to turn it off?Dashboard, dock.app?without third party apps or OS hacks. 5. Consistent UI, and/or the ability to natively select themes. 6. Incorporate functionality provided by third party applications which fix native inadequacies, ie. Quicksilver, Folders at a Glance, MenuCalendarClock etc. To think, the are loads of people out there that have never experienced anything but OS X. kewl...jf -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
