I found a cool little program today (via tuaw.com) called Remote Buddy. Basically it gives a lot more functionality to the remote that ships with the new macs.
With Remote Buddy you can use the Apple Remote to control Keynote/ PowerPoint, PhotoBooth, Quicktime, VLC, and a whole bunch more. Now while that sounded intriguing, what sold me on the app is that you can use it as a virtual Keyboard and mouse. Just using the directional buttons you can move the mouse around your screen and use the play/pause button to click. It's pretty slick. http://www.iospirit.com/index.php? mode=view&obj_type=infogroup&obj_id=23&sid=2351051G31836af0289d7788 Rick ps. it only costs 9.99 euros, which translates into roughly $13 US. | The next meeting of the Louisville Computer Society will | be June 27 at Pitt Academy, 6010 Preston Highway. | The LCS Web page is <http://www.kymac.org>. | List posting address: <mailto:macgroup at erdos.math.louisville.edu> | List Web page: <http://erdos.math.louisville.edu/macgroup>
