Doesn't seem to be a problem, I had an older version of Panther on a 
computer I had given a couple about a year ago, so they needed an 
update and I was dreading all the incremental upgrades and security 
patches.  I went to the Apple website and they had listed the 
Combination 10.3.7 which in the explanation said it included all the 
previous updates for the O.S. and security patches.  I downloaded the 
95 meg (I think) file, went to their house and in a few minutes had all 
going just fine.  Since then there has been another security patch, and 
it may now be included in the combination file.
