Have you tried iSync? There is a plugin-type for iSync that allows Palm Desktop to sync with Address Book and iCal. From the fine print on the iSync Page...
"2. To sync your Palm device, you must first have Palm Desktop 4.0 (or later) installed and then install iSync Palm Conduit 1.2. In general, if your Palm OS device syncs to Palm Desktop on your Mac with HotSync, it will work with iSync." Here is the link it... http://www.apple.com/isync/download/index.html#palm I used it a year or so ago to get the addresses off of my Palm V and it worked fine, that is after I got the $5 USB-Serial adapter working...grrrrrrrr.
