It should work with either PC100 or PC133. Several of the machines Apple came out with at that time were advertised to max out at 512 MB, but actually do recognize 1 GB. I think this is because they only have two memory slots and the largest PC100 DIMMs Apple sold at the time were 256 MB. Many people have upgraded theirs by filling the slots with 512 MB DIMMs instead.
