I can't shed any light on why it's doing that, but I can tell you that 
your computer is experiencing a "kernel panic," which is the functional 
equivalent of getting the "bomb" in OS 9 or prior.

Things to try: Use Disk Utility to repair permissions. Have Disk 
Warrior rebuild your directory (if you have DW).

I was getting a lot of these a few months ago and then little things 
just started going haywire in my system. I eventually backed everything 
up and reinstalled OS X. Everything's been fine since then.
