The biggie is that Appleworks V6 can reliably open any Windows Word XP

Claris works can't.

I did fine a few 32MB 72 pin simms for $1 each and snapped them in and the
computer's speed has amazingly improved.

I have a generous member here sending me OS 8.0 and I'm bidding on a Global
Village modem that's v.90 hopefully I'll have him pieced together so that he
can do what he needs to do.

I have an old imagewriter but would like to get a better printer than that.
Hopefully I can find an old laserwriter 300 on the cheap.

Surprisingly once I max out the OS under System 8 I think that he will have
a decent system that might actually get him through middle and into high
school as a word processor at least.
