I will try to get to the meeting sept. 23rd. But I want to get the operating system for my kids at college, and if there's an indication panther won't be released for many months, I probably will buy the latest OS X available now. so if anyone has an inkling of the release date let me know. the only thing I've found so far is some comment on an apple-oriented website in Germany that it was expected in December.
