Ed and Tony, thanks a lot. I was so surprised that my word files opened without me first doing some acrobatic tasks. In OS9 I always had to do the conversion manually. I also want to send the info and URLs to a friend of mine who wants to buy a Mac, but is hesitant how he could open files from the microsoft platform.
