There seems to be many reports of strangeness with internet connectivity for many people after updating to 10.2.8. Since this causes difficulty in trouble-shooting, it might be a good idea for people to download the supposedly-troublesome file *before* upgrading, so that they don't get caught w/o the internet just when it would be needed most. For more info: http://www.macfixit.com/ I realize that macfixit attracts folks with troubles, but supposedly this connectivity problem is not as uncommon as the usual macfixit reported troubles.
