Try a USB flash drive.  I have a 256 MB FUJIFILM drive that I picked up 
@ Best Buy for
about $80.  It is recognized by my powerbook and can also be used with 
Windoz if your employer hasn't yet seen the light.

I believe they had these drives in sizes from 32 MB up to 1 GB.  I know 
for sure they go
up to 512 MB.
