I think I posed my question incorrectly. I know Logitech makes mice
and there are other cordless things floating around. This new mouse and
keyboard from Apple, though, is to be used with Bluetooth. I don't know
enough about technology and actually wanted to know in which way
Bluetooth is different from the airport. I am told it does not reach
far, but still, wouldn't something which works with Bluetooth also work
with the airport? You see, I still don't know how actually my airport
works, why I can float my Tbook all over the house and yard to catch
the signal. Are they different waves? Perhaps different frequencies
that work with Bluetooth? I am lacking the basic knowledge in the way
waves are transported through space. Buying a TV or radio doesn't bring
up these questions, but now with all these different gadgets on the
market, one would like to make intelligent choices before, not after
the fact.
