Hi! I am maxing out a Power Tower Pro. Impressive machine! Compared to my Performa there is little comparison!
I've hit a snag. A big drive I bought at eBay has (or had) OS9 on it. I installed it. I booted the machine and 9 booted up not by choice. The number 9 ate the raid array before I was able to switch off the power. So I have two freshly formatted drives connected to an Adaptec card waiting... I did get the Power Computing CD with the machine along with hard copy. The installers for SoftRAID 2.x and power domain control are not on the CD. I did not get them separately. Does anyone have it? On a pc there are jumpers that can be used to speed up the mother board. Anything similar on a Mac board? If not is there another way to do it? tyia If you want to install OSX on a 604 machine you can get the unsupported installer utility at www.macsales.com ===== Regards, Robert Schenk 1821 Burdette Ave. Evansville IN 47714-5505 812-402-4128 (voice/fax) grinnel99 at yahoo.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
