Hi everybody! I was wondering if anyone has ever encountered a problem where typing becomes extremely slow....in other words, your type appears about a second after you type it. It happens after the system has been up awhile, restarting always works at least temporarily.
I have already: 1) checked with Norton's Disk and virus checker 2) defragged the drives 3) ran Apples check disk utility All were OK; afterword I was still having the problem. 4) Reverted to base extensions then no problems from what I could tell. I added some of the extra extensions back and have only seen the problem once. It's very random so trying to narrow the extension down is difficult. I have 640 Meg RAM and a 350MHz processor on a G4. I still get out of memory on occasion (when I might just be running 2 or 3 aps: I'm sure this is related)?? So my question is: Has anyone seen this problem before? If so how do I fix it?
