Hi George, Most ocr programs (i.e. OmniPage, Textbridge etc.) usually perform their optical character recognition on files saved in TIFF format. This can be done as a stand alone procedure without having to rescan. If you find your file format to be other than TIFF, shareware programs such as GraphicConverter may accomplish the needed file format conversion.
