Tom,
Yes, you can. I brought my tray-loading iMac (333Mhz, 6GB hard drive) to a
MacGroup meeting four years ago, and some kind soul there (possibly you)
opened up the case and removed the bottom SO-DIMM (32 MB) and replaced it
with a 128 SO-DIMM.
