Apple has released iTunes 4.9 which gives you the ability to download
podcasts from the Apple Music Store. Most, well so far all of them I
have looked at on the store are free.
Those that like to do such things have taken this new iTunes app apart
and found lots of teasers that Apple is indeed going to support an
iTunes phone.
