> What are Quicksilver and MDD Macs?

The Quicksilver is a tower G4/733 Mac. It's the one with the
silvery-grey case, and that explains the name.

The MDD Macs are the G4 towers with the mirrored-looking drive doors.
They came in several different speeds.

> Is the pioneer drive an internal or external drive?

Pioneer made several of the original Superdrives on the Mac. The ones
you see on e-Bay are usually internal drives that can replace your
present internal CD. Another option is to buy an inexpensive Firewire
box with an ATAPI controller and mount it in there to turn it into an
external.
