I ran a google search for powerMac 5200. It was the second listing.

Awesome, thanks. Now share your secret -- how did you find that? I did
searches on Google for things like "open 5200 case" and "install ram mac
5200" but got nowhere.

First, thanks again to everyone who organized and brought stuff for the
swap meet. I got rid of the stuff I was wanting to, and ended up with
lots of cool new-to-me stuff.
Second, now that I'm the proud owner of a Power Mac 5200, I'm trying to
figure out how to access the motherboard if I ever decide to install
more RAM. It's got 8 MB so OS 8 won't install on it, I'm thinking of
snatching up some RAM on eBay and upgrading. But first I want to make
sure I know how to get to the motherboard.
I figured out how to pop off the back plate, but all I see are the I/O
ports and the disk drives. I don't see any way to slide out or pop open
some other panel to reach the motherboard.
Thanks,
--- Rex.
