Hi Charles,

Appleworks files are appleworks files so it doesn?t matter what operating
system they were created within. Also you will find Appleworks 6 to be a
?carbon? application which means it runs natively under OS X (not in classic
mode) and OS 9 as well.

The question mark indicates the original Appleworks application can no
longer be found (did you update or reinstall the application?). Drag this
icon from your dock to the desktop and let it poof in mid air to remove it.
Locate your original Appleworks application and drag it down into your dock
again. Things should work fine again.

Subject: MacGroup: Appleworks/?

Am using 10.3.3 on a 400MHz slot-loading iMac for most programs, but still
using Appleworks files from 9.2.2, so have been running Classic to retrieve
those files. Recently, when the AW icon is selected, instead of opening up
AW, a question mark appears on top of the Appleworks icon and it doesn't
respond. Should I "move" the AW files to 10.3.3, and if so, how do I
accomplish this?

Thanks in advance for your help.
