I recently downloaded the Adobe Illustrator 10 Demo version, which has a 30-day
restriction and doesn't allow you to save or print.

A few days later I ordered (and have now installed) the upgrade to version 10.
I trashed the Demo version after installing the real one, but obviously didn't
get rid of everything. Now, if I double-click on an Illustator file, when
Illustrator has not yet been launched, it brings up the splash screen that
tells me about the Demo restrictions and how many days I have left. All I can
do is cancel out of it.

If I launch Illustrator 10 first and then double-click on a file, it works
fine; it's just when I double-click on a file that launches Illustrator that
the problem shows up.

Apparently there is some kind of preference file left over from the demo
version that is being found when Illustrator is launched by double-clicking one
of its files. Does anyone have any idea what file this might be and how I would
get rid of it?

Dan
