I am a member of Appleworks User Group (AWUG). I participate in AWUG's
"members helping members" group. The message was below was sent to me-I
am not sure why because it's not in my area of expertise. If anyone out
there can help Judy I'm sure she will be appreciative. If you respond to
the list I will forward your messages to her. Otherwise send them
directly to her.

I am writing you all as a last resort concerning my problems with my ibook.

I purchased the 466 graphite model in the end of 2000.

In February 2003-- I had to replace the battery-- since it would only hold a
charge for about 30 minutes.

About a month ago-- I noted that the battery would no longer charge at all--
yet the charger showed "green" meaning a full charge.
After checking out the charger-- and the Apple repair store saying it
appeared as though the charger was good-- I sent the battery back and BTI
just sent me a new one.

The battery was at 100% charge when I turned the ibook on-- after charging
the 10 hours, as directed.

Since that time-- I can't get it back above 79% and that took 48 hours.

I have done the recommended-- reset the Management system, the pram, etc.
several times.

I don't know where else to turn.

Do you have a clue as to what to do next? I am very frustrated.

A quick response will be appreciated.

Thank you,

Judy Ross
