I used to like Preview for PDF, but I always had to zoom in to read, and since most of my files were quite large (catalogs, publications, etc), I wanted to use Find to find a word or a number that would home in on a subject, and then I wanted to copy and paste what I found. So I always ended up opening Reader to use those features. Finally I made Reader the default. The new Adobe Reader 6.0 is really powerful. > .... How can I make Preview the default pdf reader? I would find the icon of a PDF file and use Get Info to select Preview to always open PDF files. | The next meeting of the Louisville Computer Society will | be July 22.
