Apple has been a very busy software company lately. They have released
another slew of software updates earlier today and this evening.
Most of these are available via SUPP.

P.S. I did run Repair Permissions after the updates and this time got a
slightly cryptic response. It ran, but in the old days it would list
the files that had been repaired, today it gave me:
Repairing permissions for ?Macintosh HD?
Determining correct file permissions.
The privileges have been verified or repaired on the selected volume
Permissions repair complete.
yesterday I did not get the third line "The privileges have been
verified or repaired on the selected volume", so I am wondering if
there has been a slight change in the reporting.
