Subject: MacGroup: Backing up files

I'm preparing to install panther. I attempted to backup all the files on
my osx partition (Jaguar) to an external hard drive. There are files in
the following folders which are either invisible and cannot be copied or
require special permissions and cannot be copied:

Library
SW
System
Users

How do I make backups of these folders and get all the files copied?

I suppose I could start up from my os9 partition, but surely there's an
easier way?

I await your collective knowledge!

Harry
