Thank you for a good guess.
I have spoken to the neighbors and ruled out cordless telefones.

It only happens on one computer.
It did not used to happen on that computer.

It sometimes changes as I close a program or roll the cursor over an icon,
suggesting software is changing settings,
but software does nothing without hardware, and v.v.
so I can't be sure.

How do you change the channel?
