I just received and installed the first of my 1gb RAM modules for the  
MacBook. (yes, I know that you are supposed do them in pairs, but the  
2nd one won't come until after payday).

The process was sort of daunting, as I had to apply much more force  
than I felt comfortable to get them seated in the fancy new slots.
But after running the basic Apple Hardware Test twice and the  
extended test twice, everything checks out peachy.

Now, this machine is really starting to fly.
The included 512mb is simply not enough.

Can't wait to up it to two gigs. (and maybe install a larger hard drive)
