It's the same, with one clarification; the numbers are the version  
revision level.
  By Adobe's releases, the current release is v7.0.8, marked as a  
'critical' update
  for all Reader users.

version: 7.0.8
   7 refers to the major release
  .0 refers to a feature release
  .8 refers to bug fixes (generally)

Suggest you go to Adobe Acrobat (Reader) web site, and check if your  
version
  is current for your System version and machine.
Assuming you do update, try your display and/or printing again to see  
if that
  fixed it.  If not, oh well, sorry, I've no other suggestions.
