That's been a chimera among Linux developers for years, with several  
projects around to reverse engineer the Windows API. Wine [1] is the  
best known such project and the Darwine [2] port is already available  
for Mac OS X. I've not tried Darwine, but I have used Wine under  
Linux. It fails with most programs and even when it works, it's still  
quirky. Crossover Office [3], mentioned in the link given above, is a  
commercial fork of Wine. Cedega [4] is another.

I'm gonna give Darwine a try this weekend because I'm curious how  
well it does.
