Marta, Your iBook has Tiger on it. The iMac that is hosting your printers through printer sharing is on Panther. Your version of iPhoto on the iBook is also newer than the one on the iMac. That may have something to do with your printing issues. Apple adds quite a few features and under-the-hood changes between versions so they can rip you o..., er, ah, charge you every year to have the latest versions of their software.
Those of us mere mortals that aren't able to buy Macs as often as Mrs. Edie don't usually run into the issue of multiple computers with different versions of the OS and iLife on the same network. ::-) j.
