Folks,

I have an iMac, 20" goose neck model, it has never given me a
problem. This machine is used for guest to get on the internet, and
that is about it. I noticed the fan was running loudly and all the
time, while this machine usually is dead silent.

I opened activity monitor and see that the system is running 70-85%
of capacity, in looking down through the list of programs that are
hogging the CPU I find a program called "VShieldCheck", which is
running at the root level and this is the culprit.

I don't find this on the other machines, and I also cannot get the
keychain password to accept.

Any help will be appreciated as to what happened, what this is, and
anyway to get rid of it if it doesn't belong.

John R.
