Until recently I was able to adjust the sharpness of photos in iPhoto,
and when I clicked "done" or the arrow after editing, the sharpness was
saved along with any other editing. A couple weeks ago I noticed that I
could make all kinds of adjustments and they would all save, EXCEPT the
sharpness. The pictures look fine during the saving until the last
mini-second, and the sharpness changes back to the original. When I
open the photo again, all adjustments are saved EXCEPT the sharpness.

It happens with all photos, regardless of origin (scan, card, e-mail, etc.)

I called service and after a while was told I needed to open the
picture in a new window by holding down the control key and clicking the
photo. The sharpness will save that way, but I used to not have to do
adjustments in a new window.

I've edited for months and now this is happening. Any clues as to why
and what I can do about it?

Thanks.

Luann
