HELP!!!! My wife inadvertently created what appear to be several thousand duplicates of playlists on iTunes on our G5. She was trying to reload her iPod, I believe. I've not found a way to clear playlists from iTunes other than one at a time. It would take about 10 years to get rid of all our duplicates that way. I thought we might copy the iTunes music library to our external hard drive and then delete all of iTunes from the computer and then download a new version of iTunes, but the apple help people didn't think that would be useful, since, they said, the playlists would still be there in the library. It also would be a pain to play all the music in the library from the external drive to get it back onto the computer. Any suggestions will be appreciated enormously.
Also, I believe I read on a user group post that there could be some danger in using Disk Warrior on our G5. My copy of disk warrior is about a year old and works with our G4 with OSX. I don't believe I've used it yet on the G5 with OS 10.4.2.
