Yes. Ward, on my iMac the dictionary is there as an icon, and it shows
at the bottom that they use dictionary.com. however, my powerbook has
lost the icon, the help menu acts as if all were ok and tells me to
click on the dictionary ( that  3 books icon) which has disappeared;
the "find" command tells me to go via HD to private to temp items , in
there it has some sherlock files, they are empty, there is a PDF
document which will not open, it tells me the preview has just quit .
I have tried to check dictionary .com to try to get it into sherlock,
but finally gave all this up because of utter frustration. But I have
not checked on the Apple help sites. Maybe some day I shall try
it.There is no such thing just to reinstall Sherlock, is there? And by
the way, where does Watson figure in here? This Sherlock helper does
not seem to live on my HD.
