FYI on the hard drive issues on the G4. The fine folks at MacTown (nice store!) resolved the issue. I?m embarrassed to say that I did not realize that my G4 did not have a DVD drive in it (this is not the machine I use on a regular basis), so that?s why it would not recognize the Tiger DVD. The reason the OS 9 Software Install and Restore CDs did not boot is because the firmware had been updated and would not allow OS 9.0 to boot (it has to be 9.2+, I think). That is why only the Disk Warrior CD would boot.
