Mozilla V1.6 (the replacement for Netscape Navigator) has been out for a few days and seems to be pretty good. It does have tabbed windows, pop-up blocking just like Safari does and is reasonably speedy.
http://www.mozilla.org/ Being on broadband will not make the download go any faster, for some reason it grinds along at 49 - 50 KB per second, reminding me of dial-up modem speeds. The dmg file weighs in at 15MB. I have not noticed any major issues with it yet, except that I like Safari's widgets rendering better (these widgets are the the little things like select menus, etc.).
