Hey folks,

The voting is in for September's topic, and here are the results of
the 12 votes cast:

Backups: 1st:4, 2nd:6, 3rd: 2
Filemaker 1st:4, 2nd:4, 3rd: 4
Leopard 1st:4, 2nd:2, 3rd: 6

So... because of the 2nd-place votes, the topic will be backups and
external drives.

Now, the one sticking point is this: is there anyone who has a
simple, tested routine for doing a good job backing up their machine?
It would be nice if someone made complete backups (rather than
backing up just their Users folder), so that a machine could be
restored after a disaster. It would also be nice if the backups were
directed at an external disk rather than directed over a network to a
server.

Anyone up for doing the presentation?

Bill
