after the discussion this past week, i purchased the MATIAS DRB#7025- WHKB USB 2.0 Keyboard from amazon for $32.
1. it is white?but not apple white?slightly and a bit smaller footprint than apple pro. it has a very solid keyboard action and response, particularly nice for a touch typist. (mine came with the L pad reversed with the ";" pad :) it has function keys to f15, with f12 acting as eject. there is 'no' caps lock and i'm glad one is not there to inadvertently cause problems in photoshop. 2. it has a usb2 enabled port on the deck top. to use it you must have two usb ports available, the keyboard pigtail has two (2) usb connections. the deck top port is handy for downloading flash drives, mounting devices etc., but it has to plugged into a usb2 port to achieve usb2 speed, otherwise it reverts to usb1. overall, a decent keyboard for the money. except for the l;l;l; prob;em. best...jf
