I don't think he was upset for himself. Woz knows he's well off. But he is also now in a class of "Mac Fans" like you and I are now that he isn't full time with the Apple company. I feel in this article he is explaining how upset he would be in recommending this product to others in the beginning to then be soccer punched with a 200 dollar price drop. As for the price drop I'm glad they did it. For I would never had purchased the phone at $599. But for $299 (the 4gb model) I'm more then happy for thats what I paid for my Razr 3Vi(iTunes model) when it came out.
I think its worth hearing Woz view on this. And even though I 200*20=$4000 isn't going to hurt him. I just wish I was one of those friends that received it free from him. ;) I'd even give Steve the refund as an extended thank you. Hear that Woz? Hook me up next time I'll appreciate the gift :) On 9/25/07, Marta Edie <martaedie at mac.com> wrote: > > Wouldn't you be upset if you were Apple's co-founder , but not in > the business anymore?
