I got the BIG 24" iMac. I guess I will eventually get it set up and
working just the way I want it. So far I have had my usual computer
problems. Had to take the first one back to the store because the top
half of the display was dark. They replaced it immediately with much
apology.

I spent over two hours with Apple today trying to get stuff off my
old iMac transfered to my new machine via Target disk mode. It
wouldn't work from my old iMac or from my laptop. So they suggested
that I reinstall the OS. Of course the new computer came with Tiger
OS X 10.4.10 installed and Leopard disk. So I will work a bit longer
in Tiger, must finish two projects and then install Leopard. I'll
probably have all my "required" applications installed from their CDs
before I switch to Leopard. I have AppleWorks installed and working.

Also I finally got around to setting up a network. I am so proud of
myself; actually got Internet connection and a printer working
wirelessly from both the old and the new iMacs via AirPort.

I'm also finally using my FireDino FireWire Hub (looks like Godzilla)
since I have too many FIreWire items to hook up .

Having fun, even if I progressing slowly. I'll see what luck I have
with transferring bookmarks. Actually there are only a few that I
really need, The rest I can add as I use the sites. I usually clean
up my computer by buying a new one and starting over.

Rats! I just noticed that my old iMac is not communicating with the
printer. It worked fine earlier this evening.
