Actually, what I normally would do is this: Set preferences to edit in external editor. Close preferences. Quit iPhoto.
Re-open iPhoto and change preferences to edit full screen. This way, when I double click on an image it will open in full screen (the behavior that I want the majority of the time). It's best for showing off photos and doing minor touch ups/adjustments. Set up this way, when you right-click on a photo, there is an "open in external editor" option for those times that I want to use Photoshop. Only right now, I have no right-click. rick On Nov 5, 2007, at 9:55 AM, Ed Wiser wrote: > Do you have Photoshop set up as your external editor? > > If not go to iPhoto's General Preferences under Edit Photo and select > Photoshop. > Then you can double click on a thumbnail and it will open in > Photoshop. > When finished in Photoshop just save the jpeg and it will update in > iPhoto. > > > -----Original Message----- > From: macgroup-bounces at erdos.math.louisville.edu > [mailto:macgroup-bounces at erdos.math.louisville.edu] On Behalf Of > b3studios > Sent: Monday, November 05, 2007 7:57 AM > To: Macintosh topics > Subject: Re: [MacGroup] iPhoto right-click > > It was simply a part of my workflow in iPhoto.
