Martha, I don't have a iPhone but I have the iPod Touch. Now I know you can delete emails and videos by doing the following steps.
Put your finger on the video thumbnail. That's the small image that is used to represent the video. Hold you finger down and move it to the right. You will see a delete icon show up. Tap it and you will then see You sure you want to delete. Click on OK. Now I know that you can not do this for audio files. So you may not be able to do this with Podcast's you might just have to wait till the iPhone is hooked back up to your computer. Where do I find such things in the crack's of the internet. Always looking and the little cracks in the floors and walls.;) One piece of software I found of use is iPhone drive. http://www.ecamm.com/mac/iphonedrive/ Boy it makes getting things off the iPod touch as easy as Senuti use to be for the 5G iPod. I had leopard hose a hard drive on my MacBook Pro as luck would have it I had just put some mp3's on the Touch and had Not backed up the iTune store files to a disk yet. So iPhone Drive to the rescue. Just hook the iPhone or touch to the computer and the software mounts and lets you copy your files back to the computer. Also let me put some ROMS on to the touch for a little game action. Lot easier that the ssh way into the Touch. For 9.95 a great little piece of software.
