That was my first thought as well, but I can't seem to figure out how  
to 1) create the email message, 2) link it to a date, and 3) schedule  
the email reminder to be sent out that day or 1-2 days prior.  Maybe  
with Leopard's Mail/ToDo functionality... I'll have to play with that.
