Well, I do use the 13" screen as well. And I have it maxed out at 2GB of RAM (it's one of the first generation Macbooks). Oddly enough, I restarted the Macbook, checked Time Machine, and the animations were there on the 20" screen.
I'm beginning to think Leopard is like Windows ME with all the restarts that I'm having to do...
