The connection between my MacBook Pro and the Linksys wifi router at work has been acting strangely lately. The main problem is intermittent connectivity. At some times during the day I can watch the Airport icon in my menu bar go from four bars (full connection) to no bars and back every few seconds. Just now it was all bars black for 15 seconds, then all went gray for about 3 seconds, then returned to all black, then after another 10 or 12 seconds went back to gray, then black... etc.
Needless to say, doing anything on the network is iffy when that starts happening. Anyone else seen anything like this? Is it most likely the router going bad, something in my system, my internal Airport card? Dan
