Lee, a thousand and more thanks! Tell me, how do you find out these
things? I almost had a sleepless night over it. The older I get, the
quicker my panic button goes off. The only positive I could see - it
happened with both computers, so I did not believe it to be in my
machine.
As always - what would we do without Lee?

There are CDs I just want to play, but not import.
There is a bug in iTunes. Go to Preferences->Advanced->Import and
turn off error
