Unless you spend hundreds of dollars a month you are getting asynchronous-- different speeds up and down. I tested the upload and got consistently 1.0 to 1.3 Mbps upload. A lot better than my old DSL, but a tenth to a twentieth of my download speeds. BTW, the place I tested my speed: <http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/> Has a speedometer-like dial that has as its highest value "10+ Mb." It is funny to watch the dial peg past the 10+ mark and sit there stuck until the test is over. I guess they are going to have to redesign their graphic for the likes of me. j. -- Jonathan Fletcher [EMAIL PROTECTED] Project Foreman NewMedia Construction Co. _______________________________________________ The next Louisville Computer Society meeting will be January 22 at MacAuthority, 128 Breckinridge Lane.
