At the November Louisville Computer Society meeting, Ed Wiser showed me his iPod Touch. He said he didn't use an iTrip to broadcast the iPod's signal to his radio but rather he used a device that goes in your car's tape player. It has a wire coming out of it with a plug on the other end that plugs into the iPod's earphone jack.
I told him I had one (a Sony product called Car Connecting Pack CPA-2 - I had purchased it several years ago when I got my portable CD player.) but it didn't work in my Chevy van so I had bought an iTrip to use with my iPod. Ed told me they don't work in GM radios. I no longer have the GM van and now have a VW and a Toyota and the device works in both of those radios. And it's so much simpler than the iTrip. Thanks Ed, for the heads up. Harry _______________________________________________ The next Louisville Computer Society meeting will be January 22 at MacAuthority, 128 Breckinridge Lane.
