What is a monthly shakedown? Everybody seems to need a cellphone anyhow. Mine costs less than when we had a contract before. Of course now we onle have one go phone for my husband But I keep wondering whether you can't install the iPhone without AT&T altogether ? What happens when the contract runs out, will the phone be superfluous or will it be able to be used with all the other features intact? Marta
